Talking about Hillary Clinton losing her cool in the DRC, here's how one of our members puts it. Your comments?
"This is all good to see her loose her temper over a student's question but the real question should have been, if we had the right leadership in the DRC that cared about the congolese people: " Madam Secretary, what are you planning to do to clean up the mess that your husband has created in the Great Lakes region which generated the deaths of more than 5 millions people, that has caused the rape of hundred of thousands of congolese women and children and today is leading to the rape of congolese men?"
Do we wonder sometimes how Rwanda could have invaded the DRC and is looting our natural resources?
The answer is found in the scriptures, Matthew 12:29 It reads: .." ..How can anyone invade the house of a strong man and seize his movable goods, unless first he binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house".

It is interesting to see how the West now addresses to as adults. In the past, with the arrogance of Madeleine Albright and the late Laurent Kabila, they were just imposing on us what to do and how to do it, but now they look at us as adults and have candid conversations with our current leaders and our leaders of tomorrow (students). That’s amazing. This is a good sign in my opinion, a sign that we are getting closer to our true independence, but make no doubt, we are still far from it.
I am amazed the way some are putting much focus on how Hillary did or did not react to the question. Is this really the only thing to can retain from her trip in Congo? A 3 second sound bit that made congolese jump. Should we all take responsibility of whatever our spouses did or did not do a decade ago? What "Ministre" Nzanga should feel like whenever he crosses the town and sees sheques all over the town? Why have we kept him to oversee our agriculture sector?
Aren't we the most forgiving species on the earth?
